Life Line selects Polymer CardioChek test system

Polymer Technology Systems (PTS) has signed a multiyear agreement to supply the CardioChek test system to Life Line Screening, a provider of community-based preventive health screenings.

The test system supports on-site lipid panel screening, which includes total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and LDL (calculated) along with glucose and provides the results in less than two minutes.

Life Line Screening laboratory medical director Benjamin Gerson said Life Line has 60 community-based teams throughout the US to conduct approximately 15,000 health screening events a year.

”The CardioChek system does not require a venous draw, allowing us to deliver fast results so our teams can provide clients with immediate feedback," Gerson added.

PTS president and CEO Robert Huffstodt said,"Life Line Screening is a cutting-edge screening provider in the U.S. and abroad, and we are proud to have them implement our system around the world.”

Life Line Screening global manager Kevin Luckow said, "We are expanding our operations around the world, and they have the knowledge and experience in the intricacies of global business we need to grow."
